Kerry Hill is a headteacher and education consultant. In 2018 her Primary School was the first in the country to be awarded the Carnegie Centre of Excellence’s Gold Status for the Mental Health in Schools Award. Her school is also the only Primary School to hold a Princess Royal Training Award, for the impact of its staff training in mental health. Kerry has spoken at various national conferences about staff and pupil mental health and wellbeing, including at the 2020 Education and Bett Show. She has also worked with BBC Teach on a series of short films to support teacher wellbeing. In 2019, Kerry was a national finalist in the TES Awards Head teacher of the Year category. Kerry is in her second year of completing a Masters in Leadership of Mental Health in Schools, through Leeds Beckett University.
